Hi Ashley,

For years, I've been a big believer in allowing at least one "free" meal per week to eat whatever you like. This gives you an opportunity to enjoy a night out with friends, or a date or any other occasion, guilt free.

Depending on your fitness and weight loss goals, you may be able to enjoy a free day. For me, every Saturday is my time to enjoy those foods I don't eat throughout the week. If I find my weight creeping up, I simply cut back on the junk food during my free day.

When others find out you're trying to eat right is when the full-court press begins. They seem to feel it's their mission to get you to eat something you don't want to. A free day or free meal gives you at least one time a week where you don't have to deal with the saboteurs.
